A Little Side Trip

Took a 3 day trip recently to Monterey area just to relax and watch the ocean sunset through big picture windows.....the added bottle of Vampire wine made things extra nice. Cool and overcast at the beach, a nice break from the heat.... Did a little antique shopping during the day and found some fun old things, now all for sale at my shop.....and I can't wait to take another trip to destinations unknown... Been working on lots of vintage boxes lately, altering them to make something a little more interesting..... Novelty Magic Boxes filled with lots of magical delights and conversation pieces..... Each one a little different and unique. This one above is a walnut burl with applied art...

This one is blackened inlaid wood with my favorite signature devil head applied and lots of curious little treasures all compact inside!
